Temporary Penthouse Showcases

Cereal Magazine has Set Up a Penthouse Showroom in London

Cereal Magazine, a publication that focuses on design, has recently opened up a penthouse showcase on the Greenwich Peninsula in southeast London. Opened in collaboration with boutique real estate agency Aucoots, the temporary three-bedroom display apartment is filled with decor that the magazine believes to best represent a physical manifestation of its brand.

Cereal's penthouse showcase is called 'Abode,' and the name reflects the degree to which the magazine focused on designing a livable space. Many apartments in magazines look more like museums than living areas, but Abode's design is austere without looking sterile or cold. The penthouse itself also has the benefit of floor to ceiling windows around the entirety of the kitchen and living room, giving it a bright source of natural light and a view of the Thames below.
