The Penta Sink by MyBath Revolves Around an Optical Illusion

People presented with the Penta Sink might think that its a practical joke at first. In spite of its artistic implications, there appears to be no practicality about it at all. Of course, it is all an optical illusion. The design of the Penta Sink is deceptively cratered to make it appear as though there are real holes in the otherwise modern porcelain basin.

Designed by Mac Stopa of the Polish design studio MyBath, the Penta Sink is produced by Acrea and made out of DuPont Corian. It not only provides a striking visual aesthetic that will produce a gasp and then a chuckle from users, it also plays with light and shadows to further elevate the design of the bathroom as a whole. The Penta Sink is cleancut and imaginative overall.
