The Peace Elephant Mural Dazzles in Size and Color

Shepard Fairey's done some pretty big pieces, but the Peace Elephant Mural is his largest one yet.

The famed graffiti artist went to the West Hollywood Library and has decorated it with the Peace Elephant Mural. This is the largest piece Fairey's done and it measures 70 x 106 feet. The piece features a gigantic silhouetted elephant with a large vibrant backdrop that features a sun and a few floral designs that are beautifully done. According to Fairey, this took six days with the crew working between 12 and 16 hours. Of course, he didn't do this alone as he had several assistants and interns helping him out to finish this epic masterpiece. This is probably one of the best artworks to come from the artist.
