Localized Modern Urban Villas

Paz Gersh Architects' 'M House' is Both Cozy and Functional

With 'M House', local Tel Aviv architecture studio Paz Gersh Architects had a tricky assignment. The studio wanted to create a home that would adhere to the local architectural gestures and concepts, but it also needed to design something that would fall in line with modern design (per the request of the studio's clients). M House is the result, and it deftly manages both of those requirements.

The clients for M House live in Tel Aviv, of course, but are of European descent. Though they were willing to embrace the local designs, they also have relatives who visit from Europe somewhat frequently, and they didn't want to alienate those loved ones through the design of their home. The coziness of Paz Gersh Architects' vernacular is the concession that the studio made.
