Ahluwalia Showcases the SS22 Menswear Through Parts of Me Film

London-based designer Priya Ahluwalia launches her Spring/Summer 2022 collection of menswear and to showcase the offerings, she also unveils a film entitled Parts of Me to showcase the vision. The work is directed by Akinola Davies Jr. and shows the creativity that ensued behind the results of the seasonal collection that we see today.

It dives into popular styles that existed during past eras, spotlighting the 70s. This was a time of Black liberation movements, driving the American and United Kingdom most dominantly. The clothing designs feature slim tailoring, retro tracksuits, patchwork detailing, and unisex options.
