Side Stacked Chairs

Parts of a Rainbow

Awarded the Design Award 2005 at the Copenhagen International Furniture fair, "Parts of a Rainbow" by the Danish designer Christian Flindt is recognized as the world’s first stackable chairs -- side-stacked, that is.

As per the name of the chairs, they come in the colours of the rainbow and are stacked side by side to create the full visual effect.

It seems that Flindt has a fascination with water, as he also designed the Ripple Chair. His designs sure deserves as award. Inspiring!
