The Park Slope Chip Shop Will Deep-Fry Anything You Want

I am a personal fan of deep-fried foods, which is probably why I found this little Brooklyn, New York establishment called Park Slope Chip Shop so appealing. Started by owners Chris Sell and Suzanne Hackett due to a bad case of homesickness for British delicacies, the pair have brought English pub-styled flair and taste to the chic and busy Big Apple.

Having opened in 2001, the deep-fry madness began with a simple Mars bar and has evolved into deep-fried macaroni and cheese, Twinkies, cheeseburgers and hot dogs. However, owners advise not eating the deep-fried cheeseburgers and hot dogs because it could potentially kill them.
