Pappas Restaurants, a family-owned hospitality group based in Houston, has announced the inaugural Pappas Restaurant Weeks. This special dining event runs from August 1 through September 7 across the company's ten concepts, including Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen, Pappasitos Cantina, Pappas Bros. Steakhouse, Pappas Bar-B-Q, and others.
A portion of the proceeds from the Pappas Restaurant Weeks is donated to local food banks in the communities where the restaurants operate. The program spans more than 80 locations across eight states and will benefit 16 organizations including the Houston Food Bank, Central Texas Food Bank, Atlanta Community Food Bank, and Food Bank of the Rockies, among others.
Ultimately, the initiative builds upon the company's longstanding hunger-relief efforts, including its Bite to Fight giving program and annual Pappas Can volunteer initiative.
