Durable Papier-Mache Lighting

The Paperwork Collection for Hive is Classy and Crafty

It is not everyday that a lighting line like the Paperwork collection is released. Although the lamps featured in the collection look very traditional, they are far from it. Made out of papier-mache materials, the Paperwork collection blends childhood crafts with high design decor.

Created by New York-based Harry Allen Design with creative direction by Filipino industrial designer Kenneth Cobonpue, the Paperwork collection is part of Cebu, Philippines-based furniture manufacturer Hive's latest crop of products. Using a special type of papier-mache, the material is durable enough to stand the test of time as well as translucent enough for light to shine through. Despite the overall classic design of each lamp, the texture and general silhouette is unique and eye-catching.
