The 'Paper Hair' Campaign Turned Sheets of Paper into Hair

In an effort to promote hair products, hair care brand Kanechom launched the 'Paper Hair' campaign. Instead of using conventional flyers, Kanechom released textured posters built to represent hair. Each ad features a different type of hair represented by a single sheet paper. Curly hair is shown using strips of curled paper while straight hair is shown using a piece of linearly sliced paper. Other posters went for a more conceptual route by symbolizing types of hair.

Paper Hair was designed and implemented by Brazilian ad agency Filadelfia. Filadelfia had a small budget to work with so they found a way to get common flyers noticed. The quirky posters were placed in beauty salons in Brazil to promote the hair product brand.
