Whimsical Finger-Aided Art

'Putting Finger' is a Playful Series of Paper Drawings

To expand on just how playful and expressive paper drawings can be, Japanese designers Masahiko Sato and Tatsuya Saito created the 'Putting Finger' series, which has very obvious places for you to put your finger in order to "complete" the artwork on the 2D pages.

Some of these funny little interactions include drawings that make it look as though a beam of light from a flashlight has been interrupted your finger, or a string that has been slightly pulled.

The charming series is one thing to look at and although it's a pretty simple concept, it would still be an entertaining one to experience for yourself. Fortunately, the 'Putting Finger' series is currently on display at Japan's DDD Gallery until the 26th of April for people to try out on their own.
