The ‘MiNy360X’ Uses A 360-Degree Optical System For Comprehensive Capture

The Rydeen ‘MiNy360X’ is a compact dash cam built around a full 360-degree capture system, designed to record everything around the vehicle instead of just front and rear views.

Fitted with a 360-degree optical platform, this particular dash cam records front, rear and both sides at the same time in 2K Ultra HD. It uses a Sony imaging chip with wide dynamic range, so it can handle tricky lighting environments such as low light or harsh glare that usually mess with cheaper cameras.

There’s also a built-in proximity radar system that keeps watch when the car is parked. If something moves close to the vehicle, recording kicks in automatically, even with the engine off.

The dash cam can be used in conjunction with a companion smartphone app, letting users check footage, location and playback at their convenience.

Trend Themes

  1. 360-degree Vehicle Recording — Panoramic dash cams are expanding vehicle evidence capture beyond forward-facing footage, creating new value in insurance claims, fleet accountability and consumer safety analytics.
  2. Radar-activated Parking Surveillance — Built-in proximity sensing enables parked vehicles to become passive security monitors, revealing opportunities for low-power theft prevention and automated incident documentation.
  3. App-connected Driving Evidence — Smartphone access to footage, location data and playback is turning dash cams into connected mobility tools with potential for subscription services and cloud-based vehicle records.

Industry Implications

  1. Automotive Electronics — Compact optical systems and advanced imaging chips are reshaping in-car hardware by combining surveillance, safety and connectivity in a single aftermarket device.
  2. Insurance Technology — Comprehensive multi-angle video records can improve accident reconstruction and claims verification, supporting more data-driven risk assessment models.
  3. Fleet Management — Always-on visual coverage around commercial vehicles strengthens driver oversight, asset protection and operational transparency for logistics and service fleets.
