Underwater Oxygen Bars

This Mexican Bar Entertains with Bubble Guns and Oxygen-Infused Smoothies

People seek outdoor spaces for the purposes of getting a breath of fresh air, but this new oxygen bar in Mexico brings new meaning to the term and experience.

A 13,000 gallon tank of water stationed at Carnival’s Puerta Maya port in Cozumel, Mexico has been dubbed the Clear Lounge, where guests are required to put on special diving helmets to get access to this bar. As well as being an essential part of the experience, the clear diving helmets are also loaded with a mixture of oxygen and an aromatherapy scent based on the bar patron's choosing.

Once inside, the bar treats visitors to oxygen-infused smoothies, games of underwater Jenga, play with bubble guns, photo booths and message boards for communication. Water and oxygen are often taken for granted, but this novel experience presents both things in a fresh, desirable way.
