Energetic Hockey Infomercials

Watch the OxiClean Pitchman Get Bodychecked

It seems that if he can pitch cleaning substances in infomercials, the sky would be the limit for OxiClean pitchman Anthony Sullivan.

After seeing this commercial pitching Tampa Bay Lightning hockey tickets, Sullivan doesn't have much of a future as a professional hockey player. It's actually pretty amusing to watch Sullivan don some goalie pads and attempt to stop shots from NHL stars Steven Stamkos, Ryan Malone and Teddy Purcell. It looks like he stops one shot out of about a dozen when he gives up and starts shilling the hockey tickets instead. After his terrible goaltending tryout, the OxiClean pitchman tries his luck as a forward, before ending his career after getting slammed by all three Tampa players into the boards at the same time. It was probably a good plan to stay down on the ice after taking a three-way hit like that.

Overall, hiring the OxiClean pitchman to promote something entirely different like hockey tickets is a clever and funny way to make some possible non-hockey fans aware of the Lightning.
