Osso VR Raised $66 Million to Increase Access to Surgical Education

Osso VR, "a validated virtual reality (VR) surgical training and assessment platform," recently announced it secured $66 million in Series C to increase access to surgical education. The funding was led by Oak HC/FT as well as GSR Ventures, Tiger Global Management, Signalfire, and Kaiser Permanente Ventures.

Osso VR intends to use the capital to expand the availability of surgical education to all healthcare professionals and hire top-tier talent to broaden high-fidelity surgical training experiences to additional specialty areas. OSSO VR provides surgical teams with on-demand, immersive modules to train in a virtual environment before ever stepping foot into an actual operating room.
