Original Vase Lighting by Jin Kuramoto Launches In Milan

These gorgeously plain black hanging lamps with red and blue color details, and with a matching set of vases, are designed by the Japanese designer, Jin Kuramoto and will be shown in Milan this week, at the Complimentary Colors exhibition.

Apparently Japanese designers and architects rarely use color, but go for the more neutral colors like white, plain nude or just working in the color of what ever material they are using.

However, Jin Kuramoto wanted to make some color-themed design pieces, and these visually pleasing products create a three-dimensional impression when combined with strong colors.

Inspiration from planetary movement and visual impression of the moon have gone into these babies. But all that put aside they would look stunning in my living room.
