Trader Joe’s Organic Cold Pressed Orange Juice Tastes Fresh

With the demand for fresh juices showing no signs of slowing down, Trader Joe's has added a new product to its beverage selection with the debut of its Organic Cold Pressed Orange Juice.

Most fresh juices (both orange and other varieties), is subject to heat pasteurization. While this process helps to kill bacteria, it can also impact the taste of the juice. To prevent this problem, Trader Joe's starts with organically grown oranges, which are then mechanically pressed to extra their juices. As Trader Joe's explains, the fresh juice is then put "through cold-water, High Pressure Processing (HPP) to ensure the safety and the integrity of the juice." The result is an exceptionally fresh orange juice that tastes like it has come straight from a fancy juice shop.
