Anicorn's 'Order Watch' is Inspired by New York City

While the 'Order Watch' looks like a classic example of minimalist design inspired by little more than the concept itself, Anicorn Watches, the design studio behind the timepiece, attributes its gensis to the Big Apple. The Order Watch is the second edition of Anicorn's well-received 'Trio of Time' series, the new watch is directly inspired by the fast pace of New York City living as well as the signage through the NYCTA Subway.

On top of its pleasingly minimal appearance, the Order Watch introduces a new mechanism for displaying time. The watch face is adorned with a series of dot lines, each of which represents a different hour of the day. Those lines sync with dots around the edge of the watch, ultimately delineating the time in 15-minute increments.
