The system uses a camera mounted on the side of a pair of glasses. It uses facial recognition and character recognition technology to help its wearers with regular daily activities. For example, if a wearer attempts to read a label or some other text, the Orcam MyEye cameras can pick up the text and dictate it into the wearer's ear. It can also tell people who they are looking at by referencing its database of wearer-submitted faces.
