This Open Space Home Offers Terrific Views

Vincent Coste has designed the Maison A3, an open-space home located on a triangular site in Toulon, France.

The building is optimally positioned so that the home owners can enjoy unparalleled views of the sunrise (if you're ambitious) and sunset (a more feasible hour to enjoy the surrounding views of the bay of Sanary). The architects kept the demarcation between the interior and exterior spaces minimal, opting for a living room that opens out towards the central terrace.

The architects retained the owner's privacy by keeping the bedrooms oriented towards the entrance facade and interior garden. The terracotta facade of the home, which was custom-designed, offers a warm contrast to the white walls of the interior.
