Art Basel's Online Viewing Rooms Share Digital Experiences with Art

Most of the summer events that people look forward to year after year won't be taking place as usual but many are being reinvented so that they can be experienced online—including Art Basel and its Online Viewing Rooms. In June, Art Basel will be introducing a second edition of this online viewing experience to connect galleries directly with collectors.

As part of Online Viewing Rooms, nearly 300 galleries from across 35 countries will be participating, many of which will be partaking in Art Basel for the first time ever. For just a few days, the digital galleries will be populated with paintings, photographs, drawings, videos, installations and more, plus statements from artists for people to dive deeper.

Like the physical events, the digital experience will be segmented into different focuses: Galleries, Edition, Statements and Feature.
