Greenery-Embracing Office Building Designs

This Building Features a Green Facade & Several Parks

Park Habitat is a high-rise office building design, slated for downtown San Jose in the state of California, that incorporates a substantial amount of greenery into its facade as well as its underbelly.

Envisioned by Kengo Kuma, this office building design features a glazed facade that will feature lots of plants and greenery. Elsewhere, the building will feature an eyecatching atrium that is dubbed the 'Green Lung,' thanks to its ability to leverage natural light permeation as well as ventilation in order to provide a comfortably cooled and soothing environment.

Elsewhere, this office building design will boast a number of green terraces and parks, while its lower floors will be host to a sunken garden area that will offer shelter within a space that boasts green yet subterranean vibes.

Set to be completed in 2025, the Park Habitat development is poised to be a fine example of how office building designs can incorporate greenery into their operations as well as their aesthetic qualities.
