The "till death do us part" portion of traditional wedding vows takes on a whole new meaning in the case of this not so traditional couple who recently tied the knot at Starks and Menchinger Family Funeral Home in Michigan.
The reception, which included dinner and dancing, was also held at the funeral home.
The funeral home has had its share of flowers and couples, but never before have they held a ceremony for two living people.
The newlywed couple said they didn't see much difference between getting married in a church or a funeral home, reasoning that churches have their fair share of caskets rolled down the aisles as well.
Understandably, not all their friends and family were amused by the idea. Some initially refused to attend the wedding, but the couple managed to talk them around, assuring them that there would not be any caskets or corpses in the room.
