Of Mice & Sand Forces Players to Survive in a Lawless Desert

The desert can be a ruthless landscape, with a sandy expanse offering little in the ways of shelter and resources, but that is exactly how Of Mice & Sand likes it. Finally developed as a full game -- having previously appeared in a limited 2017 3DS release -- Of Mice & Sand tasks players with running a tiny crew in a sprawling home on wheels as they trudge through a desert wasteland. Charming 8-bit graphics hide the stark reality of survival as players will need to gather resources, create inventions and collect other survivors with the only goal being survival.

Managing food and fuel will be the paramount concern of players, but the need to accept quests is equally as important. Throughout the player's travels, NPCs encountered in towns and outposts will offer up tasks that need to be completed. The bounties and rumors from small towns help to populate the game's world and give a sense of brevity to the survival management portion of the game.

Of Mice & Sand is currently available on Steam and Nintendo Switch and is releasing on PS4 in the near future.
