Oded Ezer Gets Design Students to Transform Famous Logos into Hebrew

This collection of logos look different but that’s because professor Oded Ezer asked his students to design a collection of world-renowned logos into Hebrew versions. This group of creative students from the Holon Institute of Technology rendered famous logos but maintained the orginal design and form. The variety of logos range from Japanese, English, Latin and Arab.

Ezer’s brilliant collection includes ‘The New York Times,’ ‘Alice in Wonderland,’ and the popular English-Arabic news broadcaster Al Jazeera.

"By investigating and understanding the very basic structures and architectures of the Hebrew letters, the task was to match - stylistically - the two languages, but without forcing the Hebrew to look like English, Arabic or Japanese letters. it sounds easy, but it’s not. the students simply did a very good job here," says Ezer.
