Lee Broom Unveils the Observatory Series Inspired by Celestial

British designer Lee Broom introduces the Observatory collection – a series of celestial-like lighting pieces. The illuminating pieces were first unveiled at Milan Design Week earlier this year and comprise four designs in total. The series taps back to the core of what Lee Broom is all about, and the designer returns his attention back to lighting. The Observatory collection is some of his most progressive work yet, delivering star-influenced designs that explore space horizontally and vertically and play with sculptures, light refraction and reflection as well.

The four designs from the Observatory collection are the Eclipse, Orion, Aurora, and the Tidal – and they all use LED technology. The Eclipse is available in the choices of a wall map, a table lamp, or a chandelier, and it is composed of polished stainless steel and acrylic discs. The Orion is a tube lamp that comes together in polished gold circles that travel vertically or horizontally. The Aurora lighting is a set of illuminating rings, and the Tidal is a table lamp constructed from polished chrome and acrylic.
