'Objective Musicality' is a Stop-Motion Capture of Household Items

Stuart Kelly's new stop-motion video, Objective Musicality, captures the animated life of beer bottles and furniture. Looking like a household item version of Toy Story, the short video pairs the song 'Blue Eyed Girl' by Stockholm with the vibrant after-hours activity of an abandoned house.

Beer bottles put on a synchronized performance, sponges crawl across the floor and furniture pieces come together in a musical hoedown. It feels reminiscent of the Fantasia cartoon in which Mickey Mouse brings to life an army of brooms to take over his many chores.

The video is creative and energetic and posits a reality in which the evidence of a party cleans itself up with the aid of a musical tune.
