Obelisk seating can be called an art form, inspired by the menhirs in Carnac on the French Atlantic coast. It reminds me of Obelix, the famous character with super human strength, created by Goscinny & Uderzo for the comic book series "Asterix the Gaul". Obelix carved and delivered menhirs for a living inside a little fortified Gaulish coastal village.
