Shopping Bag-Inspired Briefcases

The 'Oaxaca Case' Combines the Generic with the Sophisticated

A new form of briefcase has emerged from created Joseph Guerra called the 'Oaxaca Case.' This new design takes a look at the briefcase in a whole new light; not only is it suitable for the office, but also for a day at the beach.

Joseph Guerra, a recent graduate of RSID, created the Oaxaca Case using a sheet of polypropylene material that is laser cut and then scored using a CNC milling machine. The basic concept for the case came from re-imagining the basic plastic shopping basket that can be seen at most grocery stores.

The open pattern of the case combined with the professional tone of the briefcase design allows for the piece to appeal to a broader market. Its easy-to-assemble design makes this a must-have for any traveler.
