The Nvidia AI Can Now Fix Grainy and Pixelated Photos

Nvidia's AI is already an impressive beast that is being used in certain autonomous vehicles, but a recent partnership with Finland’s Aalto University and MIT is now expanding Nvidia AI into the photography space. Essentially, the new and improved AI can now fix grainy or pixelated photos just by looking at them. The AI is capable of doing this thanks to deep-learning work and can compete other state-of-the-art methods.

Certain AI's can already accomplish this, to a degree, but traditionally requires the noisy image to be accompanied by a clean version of the same subject. This is where the Nvidia AI stands out as it automatically fixes images just be scanning them. The AI and photo-enhancing method will be at the International Conference on Machine Learning in Stockholm.
