Vintage Beachwear Editorials

Eniko Mihalik Stars in the Numéro Russia June 2014 Issue

Eniko Mihalik looks like a 40s screen siren enjoying a day on the beach in the 'Eclipse' editorial for Numéro Russia's June 2014 issue.

While a lot of swimwear fashions are going in a more modern direction (think neon hues and mesh fabrics), fashion editor Aliona Isaeva decided on a retro aesthetic to set this editorial apart. She styled Mihalik in swimsuits with high waists, plunging necklines and A-line bodices. The looks were topped off with floppy sun hats and veils. Hair stylist Olivier Lebrun pulled back Mihalik's hair to accommodate for the hat fashion, while makeup artist Chloé Desmarchelier finished off the look with a wine-colored lip stain.

Vanmossevelde + N photographed Mihalik in black and white as she reclined in these retro pieces. Though she is solo in each photograph, I can only imagine that her vintage looks would eclipse all other beach-goers.
