Spencer Tunick Captures 100 Women in Nude Protest Against the RNC

American artist Spencer Tunick recently conducted a nude protest in the United States. This is nothing new for him -- in Mexico he managed to get 18,000 people to bare it all and in Australia, 5,200 people posed in the nude in front of the Sydney Opera House.

Each of his shoots relay a message and this last event in Cleveland was no exception. Intentionally planned a day before the 2016 Republic National Convention began, 100 women came out to participate in a nude protest against the Republican Party's negative view on women and minorities. According to the artist, the mirrors in the shoot were used to communicate that "we are a reflection of ourselves, each other, and of, the world that surrounds us. The woman becomes the future and the future becomes the woman."

Nude art is nothing new but Spencer's ability to congregate and capture mass naked bodies is shocking and intense. It definitely draws in a lot of media attention and gets its audience talking about his work and the message behind it.
