Duct Tape Art

From Fashion to Sculptures

Duct tape art is quite the novelty.

The medium is durable, and much cleaner that clay or paper mache. Maybe not as malleable, but still unique as an art supply.

A quick Internet search led me to an article in Freestyle magazine (Volume 15, Issue 6), advertising an annual duct tape festival in Avon, Ohio.

Pretty impressive art work!

I can see a museum being curated someday in Canada, in the honour of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's (CBC) TV Celebrities from The Red Green Show. One of the main features of their slapstick comedy show is their ability to fix and alter practically any object, with duct tape as one of their primary tools. Whoever thought about goalie gear made out of kitchen equipment and bubble wrap?
