Ghia's Canned Aperitifs Share Bitter, Herbal Flavors

Last summer, Ghia launched its signature non-alcoholic aperitif and the brand is now expanding into the ready-to-drink category with single-serve cans of Le Spritz. The product is mort portable and it offers a spritzed version of the brand's signature bitter aperitif.

The effervescent spritz boasts a base of sparkling water and Riseling white grape juice concentrate, plus ingredients like yuzu, elderflower, rosemary and ginger. Le Spritz is vegan-friendly and free from added sugars, preservatives and artificial flavors.

The brand observed that spritzes were its customers' favorite drink recipes but people were intimidated when it came to preparing their own. Now, enjoying Le Spritz is as simple as cracking open a compact eight-ounce can. As founder Melanie Masarin told Forbes, "The RTD format not only makes this drink more accessible but provides a non-alcoholic alternative to canned cocktails, a market that was steadily growing before the pandemic."
