Get the Chance to Make Your Own Movie With Nokia Shorts 2011

Those looking to be the next Wes Anderson or Darren Aronofsky will have their chance in the Nokia Shorts 2011 contest.

The Nokia Shorts 2011 contest is a collaboration between the mobile company and video-sharing website Vimeo. Participants must pitch the idea before they even make the movie. If the judges give it the okay, the filmmakers will be given a $5,000 production budget and two Nokia N8 HD phones with which to shoot. All the finalists will have their film premiere at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, and the winner will receive $10,000 in cash.
