The Nissan Ariya Pole Expedition EV Was Modified by Arctic Trucks

This Nissan Ariya pole expedition EV has been modified by Arctic Trucks in a bid to help Chris and Julie Ramsey complete a journey from the North and South Pole. The electric vehicle was modified by Nissan engineers with the help of the aforementioned Arctic Trucks to ensure it can withstand the journey with as many of the stock parts as possible. The vehicle thus maintains the same electric drivetrain as the original with a 304-mile driving range, which could show a reduction due to the suspension modifications and 39-inch tires.

The Nissan Ariya pole expedition EV will be powered by a portable wind turbine and solar panel array to keep the vehicle charged up when the couple start their journey in March 2023.
