The Nintendo Switch was initially launched to combine the best features of console and portable gaming and now, Nintendo Switch Lite is being introduced as an even more compact and lightweight model for on-the-go handheld gaming. The ultra-slim design boasts built-in controllers and the ability to play games from the Nintendo Switch game system.
While the Nintendo Switch offers ways for gamers to play with a TV by using a dock, on a tabletop mode and a handheld mode, the new system only offers the latter and as such, removes the need for a dedicated dock or HDMI cable.
Nintendo Switch Lite will be launching in the fall of this year in three colors: yellow, gray and turquoise.
