Colin Matso's Design for Nike Enables the Disabled

This conceptual prosthetic leg from Colin Matso is so awesome that Nike (or any other big-name sports company) would be foolish not to produce it.

Colin Matso did complete an internship at Nike, however, so perhaps this concept will actually be up for sale one day. I love his design, which offers an extra something to enable the disabled.

Implications - Hi-tech prosthetics have been around for quite some time, but now major sports brands like Nike are targeting the disabled demographic. Like Nike, to prosper in this economic climate businesses must make sure that they are capitalizing on the wide variety of target consumers in the world. By thinking outside of the box, businesses can discover new consumer bases to become irresistible to.
