Collaborative Nigerian Fashion Lines

Engineered Garments Joins Forces with Post-Imperial

This Nigerian fashion line is the epitome of a playful essence. The silhouettes in the collection have been conceived in collaboration between Engineered Garments and a Nigerian-American menswear label that goes by the name of Post-Imperial.

The entire clothing range is subject to "a unique process called Adire which is practiced by the Yorubas in the Southwest region of Nigeria." It boasts a reversed dying process where areas are traced with cassava starch or wax prior to make them resistant to the dye. The result is quite fascinating.

Engineered Garments x Post-Imperial's Nigerian fashion line offers t-shirts, two-piece sets, and bucket hats. Aside from the Adire technique, the garments are also recognized by their striking patchwork. These approaches to fashion surely curate a unique style with a cultural twist.
