Haute Hurried Editorials

The Elle UK New Rising Power Photoshoot Depicts on the Go Poses

The Elle UK December 2014 New Rising Power editorial depicts movement in each shot. Photographer Jan Welters captured Amy Hixson while on the go, making it appear as if the series was produced on the fly as the model went about an average day.

Contributing to the catching nature of these hurried snapshots was stylist Alison Edmond who selected off the shoulder dresses, crop trousers and patterned sweaters. Given the range of motions present in New Rising Power, Edmond included sporty flip flops and Birkenstocks, allowing for jumps and runs about the grey concrete setting.

Despite the sporty notes present in this Elle UK series, Edmond also included elongated skirts, spiky leather boots and high rise pants, infusing the scene with formal fashion notes.
