This New KitKat Bar is Made with Sustainably Sourced Cocoa

This new KitKat bar has been introduced by Nestlé as a sustainable treat within its income accelerator program that aims to connect farmers together and also raise awareness related to cocoa sustainability.

The bar is crafted with sustainably sourced cocoa and boasts the same delicious taste as the original to make it a clear winner for new or existing fans of the brand to pick up. The bar comes as part of a larger shift that will see the brand using segregated cocoa butter across all its KitKat chocolate in Europe by mid-2024.

Head of Confectionery and Ice Cream for Nestlé Corinne Gabler spoke on the new KitKat bar saying, "KitKat has consistently embraced innovation, centred around its iconic ‘Have a break, Have a KitKat.’ Today, this innovation is brought to life through the Breaks for Good initiative that puts cocoa farmers at the centre of our product through our income accelerator programme. We couldn’t think of a better brand than KitKat to represent our efforts to create a meaningful impact in cocoa communities."
