The New GM E-Bikes Focus on Improving the Lives of Riders

Two new GM e-bikes showcase a new ecological focus for Chevrolet beyond its all-electric Chevy Bolt car. While only one of the bikes has been shown, both GM bikes are designed to be incredibly commuter-friendly and will be "integrated and connected." While both models are quite compact, only one will fold.

According to Hannah Parish, GM's director of urban mobility solutions, the goal of the GM e-bikes is to help "people move around cities in an easier way that fits seamlessly into their lives." The bikes were created by GM car designers and are made to have a car-like feel.

While the bikes have not been officially named, GM will be hosting its 'E-Bike Brand Challenge' to allow customers to decide the name of the bikes.
