These Nestlé-Froneri Ice Creams Will Feature Resugar Synergy

Nestlé-Froneri Ice Creams has announced it will use Resugar Synergy as the key ingredient in its low-calorie treats as a way to deliver a high-quality flavor without the associated calories. The ice cream bars will feature the regular sugar in the recipe swapped out for the Resugar Synergy, which supports the reduction of sugar content by a total of 70%. The change will be recognized within the 99 calorie series as a way to highlight flavor and a low-calorie format.

Chief Technologist Ariel Elhadef spoke on the Nestlé-Froneri Ice Creams product update saying, "Many consumers today are looking for products that will provide them with an experience without compromise in taste and texture, yet with a low caloric value. The addition of Resugar to the 99 calorie series allowed us to launch a very tasty product with a sugar content of less than 10%. This is a winning combination of less than 100 calories per unit and excellent taste."
