The Neon Air Max 97s are Expected to Drop Again Sometime in 2017

The last time the Neon Air Max 97s were released was in 2005, when they was only made available to consumers throughout Asia.

Although the details surrounding the Neon Air Max 97s' reissue dates and location are a little sparse right now, it's expected to become available sometime later in 2017. As the silver and gold versions of the iconic sneakers were recently made available to consumers in the United States and Europe, sneakerheads are hopeful that the neon version will have a broader range of location than it did previously.

It's reported that the new Neon Air Max 97s will feature a few adjustments in design as well, including "silver lettering on the heel pull tab as opposed to the original neon font." The bright green accents will be featured in their usual form however, complementing the midsoles and making up Nike's Swoosh logos on the sides of the uppers.
