Prescriptive Produce Packaging

Nature's Pharmacy is a Branding Concept for Fruits and Veggies

Created by graphic designer Jasmine Davies, this branding concept titled Nature's Pharmacy took its inspiration from the informative nature of prescription packaging and the bounty of nutrients contained in natural foods. Designed to get people thinking about the medical benefits of fruits and vegetables, the range also takes inspiration from the movement toward apothecary-inspired branding, which also references the small-batch aesthetic.

The visual identity for Nature's Pharmacy features a graphical logo depicting "you prescription" and includes the name of the produce in Latin. The informative packaging also include details like the specific medicinal benefits, directions for consumption, a best before date and its "active ingredients." Although merely a concept at this point, this project does a great job of mimicking the direction of produce packaging designs.
