The National Geographic Augmented Reality Stunt in Hungary Mall

Unfortunately, the time-traveling technology featured in the television show 'Terra Nova' is fictional, but these mall visitors were lucky enough to get a blast from the past thanks to the National Geographic Augmented Reality PR stunt. It brought to life some extraordinary sights including a Tyrannosaurus Rex and the historic moon walk.

Created in collaboration with Appshaker, the National Geographic Augmented Reality stunt is currently touring different shopping centers in Hungary. Made up of a huge digital screen and high-powered camera that is placed in front of an AR marker on the ground, people see these mind-boggling prehistoric projections right before their very eyes. They can even 'interact' with these projections, though nothing is actually in front of them.

The National Geographic Augmented Reality stunt shows how much people love to place make believe.
