Surreal Photo Staging

NAM Collective Creates and Captures Imaginatively Unreal Images

It is talented people like those who make up the NAM Collective that inspire me want to move away from my computer screen and create something imaginative and fun.

Founded by designer Takayuki Nakazawa and photographer Hiroshi Manaka back in 1996, NAM Collective is now comprised of more than 10 artists. As a constantly growing company, it nonetheless keeps an intimate environment that allows for intense creativity and imagination to reign.

Although the photography itself is stunningly captured, I can't help but think that what NAM Collective excels at is their staging techniques. The backdrops and props used are amazing and the way they are put together is truly inspirational. See these interesting shots for yourselves in the featured gallery.
