Yamaha's MusicCast Vinyl 500 Preserves Vinyl Quality Over WiFi Speakers

Record players are becoming more and more technologically advanced but Yamaha's MusicCast Vinyl 500 innovates further by featuring WiFi streaming. Part of Yamaha's MusicCast product line, the MusicCast Vinyl 500 lets users stream their music wirelessly to any MusicCast speakers. This feature helps preserve the distinctive sound of vinyl but allows it to be amplified over a larger space thanks to WiFi streaming and pairing.

The MusicCast Vinyl 500 can also play music from AirPlay, Spotify Connect and Bluetooth devices and can steer online services and multi-room playback through Alexa commands. The turntable can currently stream WiFi on either 2.4 GHz or 5 Ghz bands.

The MusicCast Vinyl 500 is currently available for $700 without speakers and is the first of its kind for Yamaha.
