Free Urban Music Cubes

The Temple is a Concrete Square that Plays Music for the Public Area

The Temple is a modern music cube fashioned out of concrete that sits outside of the Government Agency for Economy and Technology and plays audio out loud to the surrounding area. The installation offers a commentary on digital music and how millennials download and interact with it through free sharing services. This is why the cube is designed to provide free music to the surrounding areas without charge.

Many millennials download their audio files, and often times use free sharing services that are in the public domain to receive music free of charge. The Temple amplifies this concept with a three dimensional square that weighs 150-pounds. The cube contains WAV files and is able to play music freely through the area.
