Created by designers Dan Yeffet and Lucie Koldova, these lamps, affectionately called Muffin Trees, are at once organic and otherworldly. These limited edition lamps were created for the Gallery Bensimon in Paris. The lamps were produced by Czech manufacturer Brokis in the likeness of their hugely successful collection of Muffin lights, which launched last year.
The Muffin Trees feature hand-blown violet, clear and umber glass shades, which sit atop naturally waxed oak wood bases. Garnering their endearing name from the shape of their glass tops and their lofty view from atop trunks of oak, these Muffin Trees are as sweet as the baked confection they're named after. These Muffin Trees and their coveted position at the Gallery Bensimon demonstrate the growing importance of interior design as a recognized art form, enjoying success within fine art circles.
